Just a little general info about forum usage to hopefully make your life easier.

First off, there is a help button at the top of the page should you have any questions on the mechanics of the forum itself.  It is very useful for learning your way around.

As a guest, you may view and read postings, but you will not be able to post topics yourself until you register and activate your own account.  Becoming a registered member is easy, just click on register.  You will get an email to asking you to confirm your registration and when you do, you're registered and can begin to post to the boards.  You are not asked to provide any personal or confidential information.  The whole process is fast and easy.

Discussion boards will be monitored regularly for appropriate usage.  Any inappropriate postings (off-color, obscene, etc.) will be removed and the offending member may be banned from the forum.  Keep it clean, fun, and don't post anything you wouldn't want your own kids or someone else's kids to stumble across!  This is a public forum open to all!

There is one board for questions or problems associated with using the forum.  It is intended to be only for user questions or problems around using the forum.  Anything else will be deleted!

You may also email me directly should you have any issues, suggestions, concerns, etc. at gene@silverlakeview.com.

I've added a ton of images for use as avatars on the forum.  For newbies to forum usage, an avatar is the image you attach to your profile and is viewable by other forum visitors (The little photo of me above is my avatar and shows up on any of my posts and also on my profile).  It's a way for you to make a personal statement about yourself and who you are!  You may also supply your own avatar image!

That's it for now.  As more information is required or needed, it will be posted.  thanks and have fun!
