Lastnight was the Town of Perry DEMOCRATIC Caucus to vote in candidates for the Democrat ballot for the upcoming election of the vacancies listed below:
Town Supervisor
Town Councilman (2)
Town Justice
All 4 positions were voted in as REPUBLICANS despite the fact that there was a Legitimate Democrat running for the Supervisor or Council position. One has to wonder why the Democrats are not trying to keep their own party running? Instead they turned their back, and voted in all Republicans.
Please make sure when you go to vote in November, that you are not just pulling the button for Dem or Rep based on that alone, remember there are NO democrats allowed to run in the Dem spot, so do your research! You should be asking the right questions of these candidates to make a more informed decision! What are their qualifications, their educational background, their motives for being elected?
The Republican Caucus is being held on Sept 14th at 7pm in the Perry Park Firemans Bldg, so please show attendance and Vote according to what is right for your town, Perry needs change and someone motivated to make it!
